FROM BOX TO BLOOM
Give the arrangement time to open.
Flowers travel closely packed so delicate petals and leaves are protected. A compressed first appearance is normal; careful shaping restores volume and creates the irregular movement that makes an arrangement feel natural.
1. Remove ties and protective wrapping slowly. Lift the arrangement by its stems or base rather than pulling individual flower heads.
2. Beginning at the outer edge, separate leaves and petals with clean, dry fingers. Work around each bloom instead of pulling from the tip.
3. Where stems are wired, introduce a soft curve a little at a time. Vary height and direction, then step back to check the silhouette.
Avoid sharp creases or repeatedly bending the same point, as this can weaken the internal wire.
A LIGHTER KIND OF CARE
Dust first. Spot-clean only when needed.
The gentlest method is usually the best one. Always follow any material-specific instructions shown on the product page.

Routine dusting.
Support the bloom with one hand and use a clean makeup brush, soft paintbrush, feather duster or dry microfiber cloth. Work from the centre outward without tugging.

Intricate spaces.
Use a hairdryer on its cool, lowest airflow setting from a safe distance. Keep the air moving and never use heat, which may distort petals, adhesives or surface finishes.

Marks and spills.
Test a hidden area first. If the material allows, blot gently with a barely damp, colourfast cloth and a trace of mild soap, then air-dry fully. Do not soak, scrub or use bleach, alcohol or household sprays.
PLACEMENT MATTERS
Protect colour, texture and form.
Indoor flowers: Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight, hot radiators, fireplaces and high-humidity areas. UV exposure through a window can gradually change colour.
Outdoor display: Use outside only when the product description expressly states that the item is suitable for outdoor use or UV resistant. Even then, a sheltered position away from heavy rain and strong wind will help it last longer.
Water: Do not place stems in water unless the product page specifically confirms compatibility. Water may rust internal wire, loosen adhesive or damage Real Touch, foam, latex and fabric finishes.
BETWEEN SEASONS
Store without flattening the story.
Dust and dry the flowers completely before storage. Use a clean box or breathable cover in a cool, dry cupboard, away from sunlight, humidity and temperature extremes.
Allow enough space around blooms so nothing rests on top of them. Label the box and store it upright where possible. When the arrangement returns to the room, repeat the gentle shaping process.
CARE QUESTIONS
The details worth knowing.
Is it normal for flowers to arrive compressed?
Yes. Protective packing keeps the arrangement secure in transit. Most wired stems and petals regain their intended shape with patient hand-fluffing.
Can I wash the whole arrangement?
We do not recommend immersion. Mixed materials, adhesives and internal wires can react differently to water. Dust or spot-clean instead unless the product page says otherwise.
What if a flower head arrives loose?
Do not force or glue a new item. Photograph the flower and its packaging, keep all parts, and contact us within 48 hours so we can advise or resolve transit damage.
